The line-up of the band was announced on September 16, 2010, with the group signing a £1 million recording contract with Universal Music.[2][3] In order to promote the album, which was released on October 25, 2010, the group have appeared on many high profile UK TV shows including Daybreak,[4] This Morning,[5] QVC[6] and The One Show, among others. They have also performed at Prince Charles' "A Garden Party with a Difference" at St James' Palace,[7] and a national arena tour is scheduled for early 2011. The album peaked at number forty-two in its first week on the chart and then dropped out completely by its second week.
The group have also been chosen to represent Marks & Spencer's latest campaign,[8] for winter 2010.
